Eligibility for Refunds
You are eligible for a full refund if you meet all of the following conditions:
- The request is made within 14 days of the purchase date
- You have played the game for less than 2 hours total
- The game was purchased directly from GameStore
- The game is not part of a bundle (see bundle policy below)
How to Request a Refund
- Sign in to your account - Go to your account dashboard
- Navigate to Order History - Find the game you want to refund
- Click Request Refund - Select the reason for your refund
- Submit your request - We'll review and process it within 24 hours
Special Cases
Game Bundles
If you purchase a bundle, the entire bundle must meet the refund criteria (14 days, less than 2 hours combined playtime across all games in the bundle).
Pre-Orders
Pre-ordered games can be refunded at any time before the release date. After release, the standard refund policy applies.
Gifts
Gifted games can be refunded by the purchaser as long as the gift recipient has not redeemed or played the game. Once redeemed, the recipient may request a refund following the standard policy.
Technical Issues
If you experience technical issues that prevent you from playing a game, please contact our support team first. We may be able to resolve the issue or offer a refund beyond the normal policy limits.
In-Game Purchases
In-game items, currency, or downloadable content (DLC) are generally not eligible for refunds once consumed or used. However, we review requests on a case-by-case basis.
Refund Abuse
GameStore reserves the right to deny refund requests if we detect abuse of the refund system. This includes but is not limited to repeatedly purchasing and refunding the same game, or using refunds as a way to play games for free.
Exceptions
The following items are not eligible for refunds:
- Games purchased from third-party retailers
- Games received through promotions or giveaways
- Subscriptions (see our subscription terms)
- Virtual currency after it has been used
